Accelerating women’s progress in trucking
In 11 years, the Women in Trucking Association has made a tremendous impact on encouraging more women to enter and succeed in the trucking industry. Utility proudly supports this non-profit organization. Currently women comprise roughly 8% of the driver population and 21% of management.
Women in Trucking hosted its annual Accelerate! Conference & Expo at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel Convention Center & Spa in Frisco, Texas on November 12th through 14th. Utility was among a record 800-plus attendees at the conference and expo, and was represented by Des Dugquem and Antoinette Monreal—the marketing team from Utility corporate. Heather Kottmann, Lauren Stuart and Erin Theobald – the sales and marketing team from Craftsmen Utility Trailer were also in attendance.
