Utility’s Aerodynamic Tail Recognized in Heavy Duty Trucking’s Top 20 Product List
The team at HDT selected the top 20 products based on innovation, its ability to address industry concerns and how it affects the bottom line. This Award was presented to Utility during American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council on February 25, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.
“It is an honor to receive this award from Heavy Duty Trucking. The UAT was designed with the intent to improve stability, reduce turbulence and optimize fuel efficiency for dry van and reefer trailers that have rear swing doors,” said Craig Bennett, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing at Utility. “One of our main priorities at Utility is to develop products that have the potential to improve our customer’s trailer performance and the trailer’s lifespan.” Weighing 25 pounds, UAT is made of a UV-protected thermoplastic composite and is comprised of two full height side fairings and one full width roof fairing.
