FG Products Gifts Utility with 100th Anniversary Sculpture

Longtime partner, FG Products, Inc. presented Utility Trailer Manufacturing with a sculpture to commemorate Utility’s 100th anniversary. The generous gift was given at the 2014 International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) conference and exhibition in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Artist Sara Balbin from Dragonfly Studio in Cable, Wisconsin was commissioned by FG Products to create the piece. Weighing approximately 60 pounds, the stainless steel and stone sculpture reproduced Utility’s 100th anniversary logo and included the inscription, “From our family to yours, Congratulations on 100 years.”

“100 years is an amazing accomplishment,” said Matthew Nelson, Vice President of FG Products. “There are very few family-owned companies left in our industry. We can appreciate better than most the achievement of 100 years, and multiple Bennett generations. We hope to find ourselves in the same position in 47 years when we celebrate our own centennial.”

FG Products has been designing and manufacturing insulated bulkheads, center partition systems, return air bulkheads and air chutes for the refrigerated transportation industry since 1962. FG Products has worked with Utility corporate, dealers, and factories for over 40 years to ensure their customers get the trailer partition style they require.

This sculpture represents our strong partnership for many more years to come.” The sculpture is currently on display in the lobby of Utility’s corporate office in City of Industry, CA.
