Utility Abroad: The Sights and Shows of Germany

Dozens of Utility Trailer dealers and customers enjoyed a September 2024 trip to Germany for an exclusive tour of Schmitz Cargobull’s production facilities before attending the country’s leading international trade show. Utility dealers and customers had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with their dedicated Schmitz Cargobull teams and colleagues in the company’s German production facilities. The production plant houses manufacturing operations for Schmitz Cargobull’s reefer trailers and dry vans, as well as its telematics operations, cooling unit production, and the company’s research and development center.

After visiting multiple Schmitz Cargobull locations, attendees spent two days in Hannover at the IAA Transportation conference—Germany’s leading international transportation trade show. The all-new Cargobull 655MT Hybrid TRU was on full display as a featured product at the Schmitz Cargobull section of the massive showroom floor. The event welcomed approximately 145,000 visitors from more than 40 countries!
