The Kin-Sider™ webliner curtain is the new standard

The Kin-Sider™ from Kinedyne® will be the new standard curtain installed on the Tautliner curtainside trailer. “Kinedyne has been a long time supplier of Utility,” said Steve Bennett, Vice President of Utility Trailer.

The Kin-Sider curtain features an easier-to-use buckle and hook assembly that utilizes a ‘pull-to-release’ action instead of a ‘push-torelease’ buckle method. Users will find this more intuitive system much better to use, especially in colder weather. The curtain is made of a durable, flame-retardant PVC-laminated polyester substrate material that is 10% thicker than competitive materials. It has an operating temperature rating between 158° Fahrenheit (70° Celsius) and –22° Fahrenheit (–30° Celsius). Sonically welded PVC-Saturated Polyester Reinforcement straps line the curtain interior. Standard curtains are white but are available in a number of colors.

Graphics can be applied to the base curtain material and when full digital graphics are applied, the Kin-Sider comes with an exclusive anti-graffiti coating which is resistant to UV rays, fungal growth and foreign agents such as spray paint. The tensioning system provides a secure, weather tight fit for added cargo protection. The Kin-Sider integrates with Tautliner’s existing super-structure design making Utility’s Tautliner still the most versatile trailer in the industry.
