Utility’s Paragould, Arkansas plant recently built its 150,000th dry van – a 4000D-X Composite TBR (Tall Bottom Rail). “I want to extend a heartfelt congratulations to everyone at Paragould on achieving this milestone,” said Hal Bennett, President of Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. “Their continued commitment to excellence is a big reason why the 4000D-X Composite is the fastest selling trailer in our history.”
“I am also proud to be part of this achievement,” said David Neighbors, Plant Manager for Utility Trailer Manufacturing at Paragould. This facility maintains a stellar safety record, excellent quality, and efficient operations, while producing upwards of 10,000 units per year and employing over 650 people. We hope to continue this long history of success in the years to come.”
The 150,000th dry van is a 4000D-X Composite TBR and it was sold to Spirit Truck Lines out of San Juan, Texas by Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas, Inc. “I am pleased that Spirit Truck Lines is the recipient of the 150,000th trailer,” said Jonny Loring Jr., President of Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas. “Since 1994 they’ve been one of our best customers.”
Spirit Truck Lines started in 1990 when the five Garza brothers – Raul, Johnny, David, Ramiro and Leonel joined forces. Today, their fleet consists of over 280 trucks and over 1000 trailers. “We are honored to be awarded the 150,000th trailer,” said Raul Garza, Spirit Truck Line’s President. “We chose the 4000D-X Composite TBR for its heavy duty capabilities and its inside width. Over the years, we’ve purchased over 1,500 Utility dry vans, because of their quality and our warm relationship with the Loring family and Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas.” The milestone trailer was presented on March 14th, 2017 at the Paragould facility with members of the Bennett, Loring and Garza families in attendance.
