2017 TMC Annual Meeting and MATS
Utility Exhibits New Products at Both Shows
Utility was on the road again this past February and March. Utility first headed to the 2017 TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee February 27th to March 2nd. After that, they moved on to the 46th Annual Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky March 23rd to 25th. The ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) mission is to improve transport equipment, equipment maintenance and maintenance management. And MATS continues to be the largest trucking industry event with over 70,000 attending.
TMC was the venue for the introduction of the new 4000AE™ flatbed along with Utility’s best selling 3000R®. The two products were then featured at MATS along with the 4000D-X Composite® TBR. “In addition to highlighting the 3000R and its ongoing innovative leadership, we showcased the two new trailer products,” said Craig Bennett, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing. “We introduced a new member to our dry van family – the 4000D-X Composite TBR, which is built for heavy duty applications. It features a tall bottom rail that is 10 inches taller and 50% thicker than the standard bottom rail. We were also excited to introduce our new 4000AE flatbed. It combines the strength benefits of steel with the light weight benefits of aluminum – weighing less than some all-aluminum flatbeds,” added Mr. Bennett.
Both shows continue to be important venues to meet customers and highlight new products for Utility.
