Utility Trailer Sales of Oregon opens new location in Redmond, Oregon
A long-time dream becomes a reality A great idea can take time to be actualized, but the planning and fulfillment can be worth the wait. This has proven true for Utility Trailer Sales of Oregon, which recently opened a new location in Redmond, Oregon. “This has been a vision of my mother, Pat Hilsinger, who has been President of Utility Trailer Sales of Oregon for 10 years,” said Elizabeth Gallardo, General Manager of the new Redmond facility. “For 30 years, our Clackamas location has served the I-5 corridor and the Portland metro region, but we recognized that there was a void for semi-trailer service in Eastern and Central Oregon that needed to be filled. We scouted out several locations over the years and finally found a nice site.” Utility Trailer Sales of Oregon will operate its Redmond dealership as Utility Trailer Sales of Central Oregon, LLC. “We have a number of customers in the Central Oregon area and we look forward to strengthening these relationships, while building new ones with businesses who use the U.S. 97 regularly. We have hired six individuals from the Central Oregon area who have gone through training in Clackamas to better understand our culture and how we treat customers.” The 27,000 square foot facility is located on six acres of land at 825 N.E. Hemlock, Redmond, Oregon. It had a successful turnout at its Open House on Friday, July 17th, prior to its grand opening on the following Monday. “It led to some service work,” added Elizabeth. “We are particularly excited about our new 65-foot paint booth. There are no booths of this size for trailers or tractors in our area.” In addition to the paint booth, this new facility also houses a large parts retail area, and eight service bays.
