Moving Towards the Future
Utility showcases at the 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show
This year’s Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) was a record-breaking event with 81,768 attendees, surpassing the previous record set in 2012. This marks another incredible year as thousands of attendees visited the new Utility booth during the three-day show. “The new Utility booth is a reflection of movement and motion – it’s the forward momentum and continuing innovation we are setting forth for Utility’s next 100 years,” said Larry Roland, Director of Marketing for Utility.
The convention hall signage invited attendees to “Think Inside the Box” directing them to visit Utility’s interactive reefer display where multiple configurations were projected inside Utility’s exhibiting 3000R® reefer. Attendees also gathered around Utility’s prototype 4000D-X Composite® dry van equipped with a high base rail option.
Held on the first night of MATS, the annual Utility Customer Appreciation Dinner took place on the historic Belle of Louisville riverboat, which is one of the oldest operating Mississippi River-style steamboats in the world. As the sun was setting, guests enjoyed the three-hour dinner and cruise along the Ohio River.
Next year’s MATS will take place on March 31st through April 2nd in Louisville, KY.
