4000AE™ DROP DECK STACKS UP AT TMC AND MATS
The 2018 TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition was held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from March 5 to March 8. The purpose of the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) is to improve transport equipment, its maintenance and maintenance management.
Utility exhibited the 4000D-X Composite® TBR dry van, 3000R® reefer, 4000AE™ combo flatbed, and the new 4000AE™ Drop Deck flatbed. Utility’s 4000DX-Composite TBR (Tall Bottom Rail) dry van was displayed with a 1-3/8” Rockland Defender™ composite laminated oak floor and a Grip Guard™ topcoat.
Utility’s #1 selling 3000R refrigerated van, the 4000DX-Composite TBR was equipped with the new Utility Side Skirt. The two newest flatbed models – the 4000AE combo flatbed trailer and the 4000AE combo drop deck both feature ConMet aluminum hubs which is standard on the 4000AE line.
Over 71,000 attended the Kentucky Expo at this year’s Mid America Trucking Show on March 22 to March 24. Utility displayed the 4000AE Drop Deck which was stacked on the 4000AE™ flatbed and presented alongside Utility’s best selling 3000R®, and the fast selling 4000D-X Composite® TBR. “MATS continues to be an important venue for us to meet customers and highlight new products,” said Brett Olsen, Marketing Manager for Utility. MATS will be held once again at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville March 28 – 30, 2019.
