2013 IFDA Distribution Solutions Conference

Utility exhibits high-spec’d reefer trailers

The 2013 International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Distribution Solutions Conference was held in Orlando, Florida on October 14th through October 16th. Utility showcased two reefer trailers and sponsored the Charity Golf Tournament, which took place at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club.

Utility selected reefer trailers from Golden State Foods and PFG-Roma Foods to exhibit during the conference. The Golden State Foods service trailer for McDonald’s restaurants features two temperature-controlled compartments, a temperature dividing bulkhead and a side door. The PFG-Roma Foods multi-temp grocery distribution trailer is a 2 side door set-up for two temperature-controlled compartments with the addition of a dry compartment. Both trailers received much attention during the conference and throughout the exhibiting days.

IFDA serves the foodservice distribution industry in North America and internationally. Its members include leading broadline, system, and specialty distributors. The annual conference features educational sessions and networking opportunities for its members.

The 2014 IFDA Conference will take place October 21st through October 23rd at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
